A few of us from Uni have been lucky enough to be involved in the campaign for wool 2011 this year. Working with Rowanand and using their British Sheep Breeds yarns, we have designed and made accessories, cushions and garments. Below are a few low res images of my garment. Inspired by little red riding hood (hence the furry texture).
The full lookbook includes gorgeous cushion designs, a bag, a bowl, legwarmers and a decorative pot holder. These can all be found on Rowan's website with free downloads of the patterns.
Accessories designer Madeleine Moxham a couple of us spotted her display at the Nottingham Trent MA exhibition. Absolutely love all the pieces especially the embroidered box bags which I think were part of her previous spring/summer collection. The pic below is of one of them taken from her blog.
Upcoming project for Rowan and British wool.
Been working on this jumper for a couple of months. Yes, I am aware it is the most unflattering thing anyone would be forced to wear. I guess I should of thought about the bulkyness of the actual fabric a bit more. I'm hoping it is good enough and hopefully there will be more info on this to come!
