Vintage Finds..

I spent the weekend just gone by at home in Cambridgeshire, this was also the weekend Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair was coming to Cambridge. I was keen to check it out as it isn't coming to Nottingham at all and I think it's been coming to cambs for a few years, of which I've never attended. So on the Saturday (11th March) me and mum made our way down to the Guild Hall, just off market square, got there around 10ish before it was opening. We did have to queue but it was definitely worth queing to get to the best bargins first!
There was nothing out of the ordinary as far as vintage fairs go, alot of sequined tops/cardigans and felted jumpers but the prices were definitely worth going for. At the moment it seems people are cashing in on the "vintage" trend and therefore pushing prices way above the items worth, yet the prices at this fair were more than reasonable.
It filled up inside pretty quickly but it didn't take us long to rummage through the rails before it got too overcrowded

Vintage French Vouges

Loads of trims and buttons!

My finds
I went for a navy high collared shirt, to add to my ever increasing collection, for £10. A 1950s lace blouse, which I think i'll put some buttons up the front so it closes properly, for £15. And a pleated below knee length skirt, which replaces my desire for this Topshop one, for only £12! A fraction of the Topshop price.
But by far my favourite purchase was a leather poncho for only £25!! I'm a sucker for anything fringed and leather and after I saw someone put it back on the rail I had to snap it up straight away!

Sorry for the extremely poor quality and the filthy state of my mirror!
